Happy New Year Everyone! Just wanted to post a quick slideshow of a wedding we photographed last August — some of our favorites from the bride’s getting-ready shots and the couple’s private “first look.” The video is better viewed with the latest web browsers: Internet Explorer 9, Google Crome 6, or Apple Safari 5. Hope you like it!

Another year in the books…

I wanted to extend a warm “Thank You” to all our returning clients and all the new clients we’ve had the pleasure of capturing photos for this year. As I mentioned in past blog posts, this year has been very busy for us and we just scheduled our last session for the year. I regret having to turn away any new inquiries, but I wouldn’t want to compromise the quality of the photos by squeezing more sessions in. Thank you all again for your interest and looking forward to capturing more photos of you all in 2012!

Del Mar Fair – 2011

I know…I haven’t been keeping up-to-date with my blog…but I promise I’ll post the sessions that I’ve had the pleasure to shoot from late last year ’til now. I just wanted to let everyone know that one of my photos is up at the Photography Exhibit at the San Diego County Fair (formerly known as Del Mar Fair). It’s one of my favorite shots of one my clients: Emma. I hope you get a kick out of seeing yourself up in the fair Emma!

Manalansans

Here’s a quick shot of the Manalansan family!

Fun with Cousins

My cousin, her husband, and their absolutely adorable twin girls visited San Diego back in May (I know, I know…this is a very overdue post). We were happy that our kids would spend time together because they don’t see each other often since my cousin and her family live in Michigan. After some Sea World fun and yummy Phil’s BBQ, we hung out at a beach in La Jolla. It was too bad we didn’t have a lot of warm sun that day, but nonetheless, we still had plenty of laughs and fun in the water and sand. Just want to share some pictures of our somewhat cold day at the beach.

Christine Maternity Session

Sorry for not keeping up with the blog lately — we’ve been super busy trying to get out all the photos to our clients! We took this maternity session way back in July and am just now getting the chance to post them. Anyway, here a few shots from their maternity session at the beach!

Baby Reese

Baby Reese arrived a bit earlier than expected. The day before I was scheduled to take mom’s maternity photos, Baby Reese made his early debut :) So about a month later we took some newborn shots of the precious baby boy with his family. Congratulations to mom, dad, and big sister on your new bundle of joy!

Maternity Leave

I’m happy to say that I’m more than 32 weeks into my pregnancy. We’ve already filled all our photo session time slots until the end of the year. We plan to resume full time in 2011 and are only taking reservations for the next year. Thank you so much for your interest!

Chris + Katie

Had a blast with this energetic couple for engagement shots at a couple of locations in San Diego. Since they are both originally from the mid-west, the beach definitely had to be one of the spots for their photo session. We took them to both the park and a little beach in La Jolla — we were one of the lasts folks to leave the beach that day! All in all, it was a lot of fun and I wish them well in their wedding in the mid-west. Here’s a quick teaser of some of the shots we took. Enjoy!

Sisterly Love

Emma and Ava are another year older — Emma, 5, and Ava, 2! My, how time flies…I still remember taking photos of the girls a couple of years ago when Ava barely had hair and was not even walking! Now it’s wonderful to see how much the cuties have grown and also to see how deeper their sisterly bond has become.

These days I think I’m more sensistive to sister relationships perhaps because my own two kiddos are expecting a baby sister in October :) Yes, I’m pregnant again! So I’m very excited that my two younger girls will be close in age and they’ll experience a sister relationship and hopefully share a strong bond with each other as well.

So, of course, some of my favorite shots from Emma & Ava’s session this year are the ones which capture both of them together. Hooray for sisters!
